Daily Collagen can Improve Your Skin

I’m sure you’ve all gone to the store and seen skin product after skin product toting their anti-aging, wrinkle eliminating, skin brightening abilities. The key ingredient in many of these products is collagen, the body’s very own protein dedicated to connective tissue. However, these topical ointments only go skin deep.

Orally administered collagen has been scientifically proven to improve the appearance of skin. Peptan® calls this trend “Beauty from Within”. As we age, our body produces less collagen fibers. This causes skin to become firmer, as well as more prone to wrinkles and dryness. But there is a solution. Peptan® explains, “3 clinical studies  demonstrate efficacy of Peptan. Placebo controlled Clinical studies by leading skin institutes show that daily intake of Peptan significantly improves skin structure and appearance in just one month.”

You can become a part of the Beauty from Within movement by using Protein Essentials Peptan® Hydrolyzed Collagen. Our collagen supplement is easily digested, and with a 90% absorption rate, your body gets the maximum benefits. This means you’ll notice brighter, less wrinkled, healthier and more youthful skin, all while also improving joint and tissue health.

Peptan® Hydrolyzed Collagen has been scientifically proven to improve skin health. Join the movement towards a healthier you by adding Peptan® Hydrolyzed Collagen to your morning routine and give yourself better looking skin, fight osteoarthritis and combat debilitating joint pain.

The easiest and tastiest way to incorporate Protein Essentials into your family’s diet is through drinks. Smoothies are a great way to satisfy even the most picky taste buds. Today’s recipe comes straight from Katy’s Kitchen, our recipe headquarters here at Protein Essentials. We bring you The Fat Elvis smoothie.

Elvis Presley loved fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches. If you ever go to Memphis, TN you can get one at most of the local restaurants as homage to The King.  Back home, however, you can have a tasty and healthier version that will make you want to shake your hips and sing. Here is how you rock it:

What You’ll Need:

1 Scoop of Protein Essentials Hydrolyzed Collagen

1 whole banana

2 Tablespoons of your favorite peanut butter or almond butter

1/2 cup skim milk or non dairy milk product

2 ice cubes

Add the contents to a powerful blender like a Vitamix. With the blender off,  add the wet ingredients first, peanut butter next, then break the banana into a few sections and put in the first section after that. Put the lid on the blender and turn it on medium. When you see that it is blending well add the rest of the banana and turn the blender to a higher setting. Once the contents are in a relatively liquid state, add the 2 tablespoons of Protein Essentials Hydrolyzed Collagen. Turn the blender to high and get the ice cubes. Put in one ice cube at a time and turn the blender to crush. Wait until most of the previous ice cube is thoroughly crushed before putting in the second ice cube. Blend to your desired consistency. Pour in a tall glass get a straw and enjoy! Makes about 14 oz and contains approximately 180 calories per 8 ounces.
